Cabbage, Chicken & Yellow Pepper Stir Fry Recipe

Cabbage, Chicken & Yellow Pepper Stir Fry recipe

This is a yummy dish with chicken, cabbage, and yellow peppers. You cook it in a pan. It has a sauce that is a little bit sweet and a little bit salty. You can eat it with rice or noodles.

4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons ginger, minced
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 medium head napa cabbage, chopped
2 large chicken breasts, sliced
2 yellow bell peppers, sliced
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup water, soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, and cornstarch to make the sauce. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken slices to the skillet and cook until browned, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, ginger, and white parts of the green onions. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the yellow bell peppers and chopped napa cabbage to the skillet. Stir and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 4 minutes.
Return the chicken to the skillet, pour the sauce over the top, and add half of the green onion tops. Stir to combine everything.
Cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is cooked through.
Serve the stir fry hot, garnished with the remaining green onion tops.
