Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry with Ginger recipe

This is a yummy dish with beef and veggies. It has carrots and a special kind of cabbage. We cook it in a pan with some tasty sauce. It's good for dinner and not too hard to make!

Ingredients

3 medium carrots
2 cloves garlic
1 small bunch green onions
1 lb lean ground beef
1 medium head napa cabbage
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

Method

Wash and dry all the fresh produce.

Peel the carrots and grate them coarsely. Put them in a big bowl.

Cut the bottom off the cabbage, slice it into thin strips, and add it to the carrots.

Cut the green onions into small pieces and put them in a small bowl.

Peel and mince the garlic. Grate the ginger until you have 1 tablespoon.

Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, and honey in a bowl to make the sauce.

Heat a pan with olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cook the garlic, ginger, and red pepper in the pan until they smell good, about 30 seconds.

Put the beef in the pan. Break it up with a spoon and cook until it's brown, about 5 minutes.

Add the carrots and cabbage to the beef. Stir and cook until the cabbage is soft, about 5 minutes.

Pour the sauce into the pan. Add most of the green onions and cook for 2 more minutes.

Put the stir fry in bowls. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and the rest of the green onions. Enjoy your meal!
