Baked Sweet Potatoes recipe


This is a yummy dish made with sweet potatoes. They are baked until soft and topped with a tasty mix. It's a warm and filling food that's good for lunch or dinner.


4 medium sweet potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Salt to taste


Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wash the sweet potatoes and pat them dry. Prick the sweet potatoes all over with a fork.
Rub each sweet potato with olive oil, then sprinkle with smoked paprika, ground cinnamon, and salt.
Wrap each sweet potato in foil and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Then, carefully unwrap the foil.
Split the tops of the sweet potatoes open with a knife and fluff the insides with a fork.
Top each sweet potato with Greek yogurt, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped chives before serving.
