Baked Macaroni and Cheese recipe


This is a cheesy and creamy dish with pasta baked until the top is golden. It's made with macaroni, milk, cheese, and butter. It's a warm and comforting meal that's perfect for dinner.


12 oz macaroni
2 1/4 cups milk
1 large egg
2 3/4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish.
Boil macaroni in a large pot of salted water until al dente, about 7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of milk and the egg. Stir in 2 1/2 cups of cheese, melted butter, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Add the cooked macaroni to the milk mixture and stir until combined.
Pour the macaroni mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of cheese on top.
Bake, uncovered, in the preheated oven until the top is browned and the sauce is bubbly, about 35 minutes.
Serve hot and enjoy!
