Almond Butter Toast with Raspberries, Maple Syrup & Chia Seeds recipe


This toast is a yummy breakfast. It has crunchy almond butter and sweet raspberries on top. We put a little maple syrup and chia seeds on it too. It's easy to make and tastes very good!


2 slices of whole grain bread
4 tablespoons almond butter
1 cup raspberries
2 teaspoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Preheat your oven to broil on high and position the rack in the upper third of the oven, or use a toaster.
Place the bread on a baking sheet pan and broil for about 1 minute on each side, until toasted. Watch carefully to avoid burning. If using a toaster, toast the bread to your preferred doneness.
Wash and gently pat dry the raspberries.
Spread 2 tablespoons of almond butter over each slice of toasted bread.
Arrange the raspberries on top of the almond butter.
Drizzle 1 teaspoon of maple syrup over each slice.
Sprinkle each slice with a pinch of chia seeds and a light dusting of ground cinnamon.
Serve immediately and enjoy your sweet and nutritious toast!
